Barclays needed something vivid and compelling that would communicate their corporate values to new joiners. The challenge was to help new joiners understand the company’s history and the changes that had followed the Libor scandal and to encourage discussions about workplace situations that might compromise one’s integrity.
I was on the team from the start, involved in defining the style of the project as well as managing the resources at the Tilt end. We created a hard-hitting motion graphics movie that begins with a blunt assessment of the Libor case and gradually lifts towards an optimistic look at the future. Splitting the project and the team into 2 sections one to handle each of the two different emotional sections of the film. In production my responsibility was the opening dark section.
I don't have permission to show the animation, it did after all show a pretty brutal self assessment of the Banking worlds attitude leading up to the financial crisis but you can find out more about the project and Tilts approach to it here.
